The “Salinas, the view from the Salad Bowl of the World” poster is a tribute to one of California’s great cities. The poster highlights this vibrant agribusiness hub as well as the largest wine-grape producing region in California.

Field of Lettuce Crops, Salinas,
I am excited to include Salinas, in a portfolio of important places, cities and regions I have illustrated over the last 20 years. As an artist, I have created edition posters celebrating cities and regions around the country. Some of those include Boston, Silicon Valley, Diamond Peak Resort, Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, Davis, Route 128, Wall Street, Palo Alto, Watsonville, the Tannery Arts Center, San Luis Obispo, Pasadena, Ventura, and Santa Cruz to name a few.

Downtown Salinas
Salinas is located at the mouth of the Salinas Valley roughly eight miles from the Pacific Ocean and has a climate more influenced by the ocean than the hot-summer interior. Salinas is known for its vibrant and large agriculture industry and as the hometown of writer and Nobel Prize in Literature laureate John Steinbeck, who based several of his novels here.
