Two Monterey poster proposal for the 250th birthday celebration. I am proposing completing two commemorative posters highlighting “Cannery Row” and “Alvarado Street” and their historic contribution to the history of Monterey. The posters will be illustrated in the style of the recently published “Pacific Avenue” poster.

These projects require a lot of illustrative and research time, consequently I usually look for upfront fiscal underwriting to proceed.  Most of my posters are underwritten by local sponsors and stakeholders, however in the case of Monterey I would not pursue that method until the fundraising efforts of Monterey 250 have been completed.

In order to proceed with the Monterey project I will need to raise $1700
