The “Moss Landing – California” poster is a tribute to one of the coastal gems of Monterey County and home to the Elkhorn Slough estuary.

I am excited to include Moss Landing, in a portfolio of California cities and regions I have illustrated over the last 20 years.

Moss Landing is located where Elkhorn Slough makes an estuary as it flows into Monterey Bay at the head of the submarine Monterey Canyon.

Moss Landing Harbor District berths over 600 boats, including 350 fishing boats, 200 pleasure craft, 30 research vessels, and a half dozen tour and charter boats. The harbor’s commercial boats land dungeness crab, halibut, king salmon, albacore, rockfish, sablefish, anchovies, sardines, squid, black cod, red snapper, covina, prawns, mackerel, and others.

The “Moss Landing – California” poster will be available for distribution Fall/Winter 2019. 

The poster will be used as a promotional tool over the next 2 years. The 2,000,  19″ X 27″ posters will be distributed in local stores, visitor centers and venues at key locations throughout Santa Cruz and Monterey County over the next 2 years. The poster will also be distributed by sponsoring companies and available online.
