San Francisco’s amazing neighborhoods

San Francisco’s neighborhoods feel more like a loose affiliation of small towns strewn together over the hills, with their gravity-defying streets, an astounding 220 public parks, hidden staircases and world class culture. For a city that’s just 49 square miles, you can walk five minutes and seemingly pass through four totally different neighborhoods

Embarcadero / Financial District

I am excited to include San Francisco, in a portfolio of important cities and regions I have illustrated over the last 20 years. As an artist, I have created edition posters celebrating cities and regions around the country. Some of those include Boston, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Diamond Peak Resort, Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, Davis, Route 128, Wall Street, Palo Alto, Watsonville, the Tannery Arts Center, San Luis Obispo, Pasadena, Ventura,  and Santa Cruz to name a few.

The Haight

San Francisco’s neighborhoods have been shaped by industrialisation, urban revivals and earthquakes. Each has its own feel, microclimates, and their offerings include Michelin-starred restaurants, renowned galleries, vintage shops and an amazingly diverse population.
