I am excited to start off 2026 by including Santa Cruz, once again in a portfolio of neighborhoods, cities and regions I have illustrated over the last 25 years. As an artist, I have been lucky to create promotional posters that illustrate extraordinary communities from around the world.

Celebrating our amazing Santa Cruz

Santa Cruz is our incredibly vibrant coastal city on the northern edge of Monterey Bay, known for its dramatic coastline, surf culture, and relaxed, eclectic and creative atmosphere. The city blends beach-town energy, redwood-forest tranquility, and a lively college influence from UC Santa Cruz.

There’s that “escape from the world” quality here: salt air, cliffs, fog rolling through redwoods, surfboards on the roof racks, sand on the sidewalks — the small, tangible details that make this place feel alive.

Santa Cruz has one of the richest, most eclectic arts scenes on the California coast small enough to be intimate, big enough to be genuinely creative.

The poster will be used as a promotional tool over the next 2 years. The 23″ X 33″ posters will be distributed in local stores, visitor centers and venues at key locations throughout Santa Cruz County over the next 2 years. The poster will also be distributed by sponsors and available online.
