The “Seattle – The Neighborhoods of Emerald City” poster is a tribute to one of this country’s great cities and its numerous unique neighborhoods that make this city truly amazing.  Every couple of blocks in Seattle is rich in its own character — from the retro strip of Lake City, to the neighborly sidewalks of Columbia City and the gleaming high rises of downtown Bellevue and so much more.

Seattle is a strip of land boxed in and cut in half by water: On the west is Puget Sound. On the east is Lake Washington. In the middle — the city. As Seattle has developed, the lines between its neighborhoods and suburbs have blurred where each of the neighborhoods is unique with every neighborhood having their own heritage and distinctive flair like Pioneer Square with it’s rich history, funky and eclectic Fremont and the Waterfront.

The city’s music scene alone is in a league of its own; it is the birthplace of jazz legends Ray Charles and Quincy Jones, iconic bands Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, and it was the birthplace of grunge.

I am excited to include Seattle, in a portfolio of important cities and regions I have illustrated over the last 20 years. As an artist, I have created edition posters celebrating cities and regions around the country. Some of those include San Francisco, Boston, Davis, Silicon Valley, Sacramento, Watsonville, Lake Tahoe, Route 128, Half Moon Bay, Ventura, New York City, Wall Street, Palo Alto, Pasadena, the Tannery Arts Center and Santa Cruz just to name a few.

West Seattle is the iconic jut of land just to the South West of Downtown Seattle, giving superb views of the city landscape of Seattle across Elliott Bay and to the West, sunset views of the towering Olympic Mountains with the Puget Sound in the foreground.

I am looking for a limited number of local sponsors that embody the spirit of Seattle, its culture, its communities and neighborhoods.

The poster will be used as a promotional tool over the next 2 years. The 6,000,  19″ X 27″ posters will be distributed in local stores, visitor centers and venues at key locations throughout Washington over the next 2 years. The poster will also be distributed by sponsoring companies and available online.  Additionally, it will be promoted through, social media channels.
