Sunnyvale, the view from the Heart of Slicon Valley

The “Sunnyvale, the view from the Heart of Silicon Valley” poster is a tribute to one of America’s great cities. The poster highlights this amazing city that is the seventh most populous city in the San Francisco Bay Area and one of the major cities comprising Silicon Valley.  Sunnyvale is home to such companies as Apple, Yahoo, Google, and LinkedIn.

Home to some of Silicon Valley’s Tech Giants

As part of the great American Cities series, I am excited to include Sunnyvale, in a portfolio of important American cities and regions I have illustrated over the last 20 years. As an artist, I have created edition posters celebrating cities and regions around the country. Some of those include Boston, Silicon Valley, Diamond Peak Resort, Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, Davis, Route 128, Wall Street, Palo Alto, Watsonville, the Tannery Arts Center, San Luis Obispo, Pasadena, Ventura,  and Santa Cruz to name a few.

Historic downtown Sunnyvale

Sunnyvale is one of the few U.S. cities to have a single unified Department of Public Safety, where all personnel are trained as firefighters, police officers, and EMTs, so they can respond to an emergency in any of the three roles.
