As an artist, I have been lucky to create promotional posters that illustrate communities from around California.

The Westside of Santa Cruz is a vibrant, highly desirable coastal neighborhood stretching west of the San Lorenzo River to the edge of the city limits. Famed for its surf culture, dramatic ocean bluffs, craft breweries, and proximity to the University of California, Santa Cruz, it blends a laid-back beach vibe with bustling local commerce

The Westside boasts some of the most beautiful beaches and coastal views in all of Santa Cruz. Rich in surfing history, the Westside is home to Steamer Lane, a world class surf spot, as well as the Santa Cruz Surf Museum at Lighthouse Point.

The Westside is the heart of the local surf culture and the wellspring of the distinctive Santa Cruz vibe. The typical neighborhood mix on the Westside consists of native Santa Cruzans, transplants that have become locals and, during the school year, students from UC Santa Cruz.

I am looking for a limited number of local sponsors that embody the spirit of Westside, Santa Cruz and its unique culture.

The poster will be used as a promotional tool over the next 2 years. The 23″ X 33″ posters will be distributed in local stores, visitor centers and venues at key locations throughout Santa Cruz County over the next 2 years. The poster will also be distributed by sponsors and available online.
